Dilly is Director of the UCL Centre for Advancing Learning and Teaching and a Principal Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. She leads a large team of academic and professional staff at UCL with a focus on building synergies between research and education. She has developed an innovative Connected Curriculum framework adopted as institutional policy by UCL (Fung 2015). Her recent research has focused on the challenges of middle academic leadership in the face of competing priorities (Floyd and Fung 2015), and on rewarding staff who contribute to the educational mission in research-intensive higher education (Fung and Gordon 2016).
