Lecturing since 2001.  Areas of interest are in immigration & discrimination, equality & diversity. Chair & Board member of Northamptonshire Rights & Equality Council, an Athena SWAN panel member and on the Athena SWAN working group. Member of the Northants Football Association Inclusion Advisory Group & disciplinary panel and  Northamptonshire Police Stop Search Working Group & Independent Advisory Group.  Completed a PhD on Discrimination Law in Higher Education, focusing on compliance with the Public Sector Equality Duties. Leading on a HEFCE funded project looking at developing policies, procedures & new spaces for victims of sexual violence & harassment on campus.  Has organised a yearly equality conference as well as ‘I ❤ Consent Week’.
