Sarah Knight is Head of Change: Student Experience in the Jisc Digital Futures directorate. Sarah currently manages the Jisc Student digital experience tracker which is researching students’ expectations and experiences of the digital environment in further and higher education and skills and leads the team who are developing the Jisc Building digital capability project to support the development of staff and student digital capabilities.

Sarah has established the Change Agents’ Network, a national network to support staff-student partnership working on technology enhanced curriculum projects. In recognition of Sarah’s work and influence on research into students’ experiences of technology, she has been elected as vice-chair of ELESIG (ELESIG is a community of researchers and practitioners from higher, further and skills sector education who are involved in investigations of learners’ experiences and uses of technology in learning).

Change agents: students driving curriculum innovation

Working with students to stimulate positive change in universities is increasingly becoming standard practice across the sector. Sarah Knight has overseen the development of Jisc's Change Agents' Network (CAN) which was set up in 2013 to support that. She reflects on this year's CAN conference and the benefits the network has spawned since its launch.
