Dr Dermot Hodson is reader in political economy in the Department of Politics and assistant dean for teaching and learning in the School of Social Sciences, History and Philosophy at Birkbeck College, University of London. He has published extensively on European politics and is visiting professor at the College Of Europe, Bruges.
